It was back in 1989 when Opera Loudspeakers was founded. But the history of the company and its loudspeakers date back to the early part of the 1980s when Giovanni Nasta an Italian native, first teamed up with a British audiophile to create a number of popular high-end loudspeaker systems. Eventually, Opera Loudspeakers was established in Treviso, Italy where they began to manufacture their popular Callas, Operetta, and Divina lines.

Each of their high-quality loudspeakers is handcrafted using old-world woodworking techniques, which are combined with new-age acoustic technology, in order to create some of the finest Italian loudspeaker enclosures available on the market. Each model is specifically developed using the latest in acoustic science principles, to create a flatter frequency response curve that provides perfectly reproduced audio levels. Today, the company still assembles each enclosure by hand, using some of the finest quality acoustic materials available on the market.
