Primare is a Danish-owned company established back in 1985 by Bo Christensen who sought to develop a more life-conscious brand of audio electronics. At the time, many of the available designs featured a very industrialized look, which didn’t match the lifestyles of audiophiles of the era.The company set out to develop equipment that was simplistic, beautiful, functional, and of course innovative. Each of these individual concepts is embodied in every single one of their products.

By the end of the 1980s, Primare’s innovations reshaped the way the world looked at high-fidelity products. Throughout the 90s, the company continued to expand its product lines in order to meet the ever-changing demands of the blossoming hi-fi industry.

Today, the company continues to manufacture its products with the same philosophy that it was founded upon decades earlier, a philosophy that accurately reflects the nature of Scandinavian practicality, quality, and design
